Walnut Floating Shelves
Our hand-crafted Walnut floating shelves are made-to-measure to your exact requirements. Produced from the finest American Hardwood timber planks, our wood shelves are built to last a lifetime. They are a chunky 44mm thick, sanded to a smooth 120 grit finish and coated with 3 layers of the best protective wood oil.
Our shelves are available up to 2.2metres in length and up to 30cm wide. We can produce wider widths too - up to 50cm for very wide alcoves. Please phone us for prices and details. Wide widths can be prone to warping over the longterm, so all shelves over 24cm wide are produced by invisibly joining two pieces together. This produces a stunning effect, with the added benefit of keeping your shelf completely straight and square for a lifetime.
Our wooden floating shelves are mounted using ‘invisible’ concealed brackets. Shelves are supplied to you with pre-drilled holes and our prices include the amount of brackets necessary for size of shelf you purchase. We also provide easy to follow, step-by-step fitting instructions on our website detailing how to install your shelves.
Ordering
Please use the quote calculator on the right hand side to determine the cost of your shelves and add them to your shopping basket. Shelves are supplied square-edged unless you request otherwise - Please see our bespoke services page for full details of the different designs we can supply - This is a completely free service. The ‘special requirements’ box can be used to add any additional information regarding your order, or simply send us a separate email with your requirements.
Once you have added your order to the shopping basket, simply click on 'Checkout with Paypal' or 'Buy with Google' to pay for your order. If you do not have a Paypal or Google account already you can choose to set one up or you can select Paypal and the next screen will allow you 'Pay by Credit or Debit Card', wherby you can pay for your order via Paypal without having to open an account with them.
Delivery
To keep your delivery costs to an absolute minimum, charges are calculated on the total weight and dimensions of your entire order, not per shelf. Please click here for full details.
Your shelves are hand-crafted and tailor-made especially for you. Therefore we usually require 4-6 days to manufacture your shelves, apply 3 coats of protective wood oil and check them through our quality control system.
As soon as your shelves are completed we will despatch them to you via a next-day delivery service and provide you with real-time tracking details for you to monitor it's arrival.
Remember
We only supply solid hardwood shelves from full-length timber planks. These are a greatly superior product to ‘wood effect’ veneers, laminates, MDF or finger-jointed shelves. Our oiling service, hole drilling and supply of mounting brackets is included in the price of your shelf - there are no hidden additional costs when buying from the Floating Shelf Company.
